NEXT STEPS PROCESS
Step 1: Come and See
No matter how you have gotten connected with FBC Rincon, our church wants you to know that you are welcome here! We hope you will take a few moments to simply be around any of our church services, community events, or small group gatherings. Please don’t be afraid to ask any questions you might have. Everything at FBC Rincon simply starts with the idea of “Being.”
Step 2: Connect with our Family Ministries
If you have children, we have a community for them to join. Whether you have an infant, elementary, or high school aged children, our church is a wonderful place for you to settle. You can pre-register your children directly on our website or by simply connecting with our Kidz Minister or Student Pastor in the Next Gen Building on Sunday mornings.
Step 3: Attend a ‘Next Steps’ Class
On the first Sunday of every month, our church offers a ‘Next Steps’ Class that meets starting at 9:45 am right in front of the Sanctuary. The ‘Next Steps’ class is a wonderful way for you and your family to meet our pastoral staff and learn more about your next steps and potential place at FBC Rincon.
Step 4: Get invested in a Small Group Ministry
As you get to know more and more people here at FBC Rincon, take some time to investigate and connect with the different kinds of group ministries we have on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Joining a Sunday School class, a Missional Community, or weekday ministry group is the best way to get connected with the life of our church.
Step 5: Find a Place to Serve our Community and World
Our Church believes that an integral part of finding community here is serving others. Service and hospitality are two identifying markers of what it means to follow Jesus and be an active part of His Church . Whether you decide to invest in one of our local 912 Ministries, Great Commission Ministries, or simply serve in one of the many areas within our church, investing in others is key to forming and finding your community here at FBC Rincon.
Step 6: Pursue Membership at FBC Rincon
Our church believes that the best way for everyone to serve, grow, and do life together is pursue church membership. Church membership is simply the formalization of the church’s commitments to you and your commitments to the church. Partnership and cooperation are not possible without a shared mission, vision, and values, and church membership defines how our church pursues Christ and desires to expand His kingdom in our city, county, state and world with you.
