OUR HISTORY
In October of 1901, a small group of people gathered in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Wall to organize a Baptist Church in Rincon. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and Rev. J.M. Cross, the group constituted the First Baptist Church of Rincon, Georgia. In the early days, the church met in various homes in the community. After the organization of the church, St. John’s Lutheran Church graciously offered for their building to be used until our first building was complete.
Our church was founded to reach people with the community who do not know Jesus. Today, we continue to reach people within our community for Christ with truth and grace.
