Greg Hartzog

Minister of Music & Senior Adults

Greg was saved and baptized at age nine. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree at Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Later, he earned his Master of Arts Religious Education Degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Greg is married and blessed with three children. As Minister of Music, Greg encourages the church to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. His passion is leading others to participate in the music ministry. Specifically, he desires the church to use their God-given gifts and skills to serve the Lord. As Minister to Senior Adults, Greg loves these folks who have wisdom and experience. He encourages the seniors to keep serving Jesus with all He has given them.

Pam Williams

Financial Secretary

Pam Williams is a native of Texas and moved to Rincon with her family at the age of 4. Pam was saved and baptized at the age of 12 here at First Baptist Church of Rincon. She studied nursing and then later accounting at Savannah Tech. Pam is married with two step children and two furry friends. Pam is our liaison between the church and our CPA. She handles church finances and is the administrative assistant for the Associate Pastor and the Minister of Students. She enjoys watching movies, reading, camping and spending time with family.

Francisco Rodriguez

Hispanic Mission Pastor

Francisco began the Rincon Hispanic Baptist Mission in the summer of 2008, having previously started another Hispanic congregation at Faulkville Baptist Church in Bloomingdale.  He is originally from Honduras and maintains a lawn-care business in addition to his church responsibilities. The Rincon Baptist Hispanic Mission meets in the Kids’ Church Room in the Kids’ Building of First Baptist Church on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. He and his wife Jenie have three children: a son Dhixie, and daughters Liany and Merary. Lori Sowers

Director of Children's Ministries

Lori Sowers joined our team in January 2017.  Having attended FBC with her husband (Sam) and two daughters (Samantha and Hannah) for a number of years assuming many roles in our kid’s ministries, Lori  joined our staff as the Director of Children’s Ministries (newborn-5th grade).  Lori brings a wealth of educational training and experience serving families and children, complemented by her experience here at FBC and other churches.  Her enthusiasm is contagious, creativity is exciting, and her willingness to learn, grow, and serve are all catalysts to help our kid’s ministries grow on the great foundation established by those who came before her.  Lori is highly relational and has already starting eating lunch with lots of our kids at their schools.  You can reach Lori at lori.sowers@fbcrincon.com or (912) 826-5536.

Kurt Kessler

Student/Youth Pastor

Kurt joined our team in February 2017.  He has been in student ministry (6th-12th grades) since 2004, and has been described by those close to him as a gifted teacher and communicator, a leader, a vision caster, and a guy who has big heart for his students and their families.  Kurt and his wife Leah have two children, Isaac and Braeden.  Kurt brings a wealth of education as a graduate of Liberty University and experience from churches in north Georgia and Minnesota.  Kurt can be reached at kurt.kessler@fbcrincon.com or (912) 826-5536.
