What are your weekend services like?
Each weekend at First Baptist Church of Rincon, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting worship music and practical, relevant messages. You’ll also receive a worship guide weekly that will help you discover all of the exciting opportunities available for you at FBCR. Children are well-cared for in our loving, fun, and clean preschool area as well as during our fun-filled, high energy Kidz Church and Sunday School.
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
What do I wear to attend your services?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in whatever is comfortable for you, because our church is not about what you look like or what you wear.
Where are you located?
Our address is 201 E 6th Street, located on Hwy 21, in Rincon.
Do you have a midweek service?
We have a dynamic mid-week service which focuses on prayer and Bible study. Our special First Wednesday service occurs once a month and includes a dinner served before the service, with the proceeds going to global missions
What about my children?
At First Baptist Church of Rincon, your children are a top priority. Our preschool area is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry as well as life-changing ministry to students from middle school through college.
How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can get involved in one of our small group classes or attend our Introductions class to learn more about us. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
How can I be discipled and grow?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Through the practical teachings on Sundays and Wednesdays, men’s and women’s small groups, and our small group Sunday School classes, there are many ways for you to grow in your relationship with Christ.
Why do you have small groups?
Small groups are an important part of our church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Groups, like Sunday School, men’s groups, and women’s groups all allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As our church grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and feel connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
How can I get involved in a small group?
One of the easiest things to do at First Baptist Church of Rincon is to participate in a small group class. Currently, all our groups meet on campus on Sunday mornings.
