DNA Groups

Our DNA Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. It is our DNA.  We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of the way He designed us, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find.  Would you agree?  That’s why our DNA groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to everyone.  These groups exist to Disciple (grow in your relationship with the Lord), Nurture (get connected with others), and Assimilate (get involved in ministry).

Men’s and Women’s Study Groups

We have study groups that meet for the duration of a specific study and then disbands.  They meet on Wednesday nights, Sunday evenings, and various other days and times of the week.  Here is our current list of active groups:

FBCR Men

FBCR Men leads special mission projects in the community as well as hosts events to help the men in our church get together for a hobby, sport, competitive event, or outdoor experience.  One example is our Men’s Breakfast, served the fourth Sunday of each month at 7:15AM in the Memorial Chapel.  Not only is a hot delicious breakfast served, but a dynamic speaker challenges the men as they eat together.

FBCR Women

FBCR Women (Women on Mission) enjoy four different groups that meet monthly in different locations and times to accommodate a variety of schedules.  They meet to study, lift up in prayer, and promote missions locally and globally, including missionaries and ministries linked to the International and North American Mission Boards.

Senior Adults

This group offers exciting opportunities such as the Jolly Singers choir, which meets on Thursday afternoons at 4:00 p.m.  They sing in worship several times during the year and at local nursing homes on the third Thursday of the month. Our Senior Adult Coordinator plans a monthly fun activity for the entire senior adult group, like a cookout, tour, concert, mission’s project or conference.
