Want to join us at First Baptist Church of Rincon in our mission of reaching people with the life-giving message of Jesus? Your generosity enables us to help more and more people experience a life-changing relationship with Him. We are truly grateful for your donation and hope the convenience and simplicity of online giving will be helpful to you.

Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

Ways to Give

We have several options from which you can choose that make giving to our church easy, safe, and secure. You can choose to give through our weekly offering that is received in both of our morning services, by filling out the envelope located in the seats and placing it in one of the offering plates. You can use this envelope to give by cash or check.  We also have the option of giving online or by setting up an automatic draft from your bank or investment account.  We are currently working on developing a smart giving via text messaging on your mobile device as well as creating giving stations around our church where you can give online at our campus.  If you have any questions about any of these options, please contact Pam Williams.

Giving Online

We are truly grateful for your donation and hope the convenience and simplicity of online giving will be helpful to you. During the months of June and July, we are moving to a new giving group which allows us to: (1) link this to our new phone app  (2) save money in costs which allows more funds to go towards ministry.  Check it out today and set up your account: FBC NEW ONLINE GIVING.

Text to Give

Visit either the iTunes store or Google Play and download our free app: “FBC Rincon,” and on that app, you will see how you can text to give.

Prove the Tithe Sunday

Prove the Tithe Sunday is a wonderful time where we invite everyone to respond to God’s invitation found in Malachi 3:10.  If you have never tithed before (literally giving 10% of your gross income) to the Lord through His local church, we invite you to step out on faith and see what God does in response to your generous act.  This happens annually.

Missions Giving

Our church not only asks for generosity but practices it as well, giving over 12% of its receipts to national and international efforts to reach the world with the gospel.  Some you will hear us describe that we support as a church, which you can support directly if the Lord leads you to do so:

ACTS 1:8
Of all the money given to this offering, 55% goes to international missions, 25% goes to national missions, 10% to state mission efforts, and 10% to local mission initiatives through the Savannah Baptist Association.

Lottie Moon
These gifts go to international missions through the International Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Annie Armstrong
These gifts go to national missions through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Debt Reduction

Over the years, as we have built buildings for ministry purposes as well as updated other buildings to bring them up to code for both health and safety reasons, we have accumulated building debt.  Our most recent renovation projects included the addition of our Children’s Activities Building as well as the renovation of our Weekday Ministries Building, both resulting in incredible facilities where kids of all ages can have fun and learn in safe environments. Our current outstanding total debt is $1.5 million. You can partner with our church family in helping us eliminate this through your special gift.
